Product Description

The Dragino WSS-07 is a sophisticated Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) sensor primarily used for agricultural and meteorological applications. It is designed to measure the photosynthetically active radiation of natural light in the wavelength range of 400-700nm. The WSS-07 uses precision optical detectors and features an optical filter within this wavelength range. When natural light shines on the sensor area, it generates a voltage signal proportional to the intensity of the incident radiation. This sensor is particularly useful for applications in weather stations where monitoring of light intensity is crucial.

Product Features

  • Photosynthetically Active Radiation Measurement: Measures PAR in the 400 ~ 700nm wavelength range, crucial for plant growth and health monitoring.
  • Precision Optical Detectors: Accurate detection of natural light intensity with a specialized optical filter.
  • Interface: RS485 interface for connectivity, allowing integration with weather station main processors like WSC1-L and WSC2-LB.
  • Input Power: Operates with a DC 5 ~ 24v power supply.
  • Measure Range: Capable of measuring 0~2500μmol/m2•s.
  • Resolution and Accuracy: Provides a resolution of 1μmol/m2•s with an accuracy of ±2%.
  • Yearly Stability: Maintains ≤±2% stability annually.
  • Working Conditions: Suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions with a working temperature of -30℃~75℃ and humidity range of 10~90%RH.
  • Low Power Consumption: Requires only 3mA at 12v, making it energy efficient.
  • Applications: Ideal for weather stations and other applications requiring precise light measurement for environmental monitoring.

The Dragino WSS-07 is a reliable and accurate sensor for measuring the photosynthetically active radiation, offering valuable data for agricultural and meteorological purposes.
