Dragino CPL03-LS LoRaWAN Solar Dry Contact Sensor (EU868)

The Dragino CPL03-LS is a solar-assisted LoRaWAN dry contact sensor, designed for remote open/close monitoring of switches, doors, gates and equipment in industrial, commercial and smart building applications.

The sensor monitors the state of a connected external dry contact (potential-free contact), allowing users to detect whether a switch, relay contact or other compatible contact device is open or closed.

Using LoRaWAN EU868 wireless communication, the CPL03-LS transmits monitoring data to a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and network server. This enables remote monitoring, event recording and integration with IoT platforms.

The LS version features a mini solar panel and rechargeable battery power system, designed to support extended operation and reduce battery maintenance in installations with suitable lighting conditions.

Its low-power design makes the device suitable for remote locations where wired power and communication infrastructure are unavailable or impractical.

The CPL03-LS is designed for applications involving door contacts, gate switches, cabinet monitoring, industrial equipment and other dry contact outputs. It can also be integrated with compatible automation systems to trigger notifications when the monitored contact changes state.

The external antenna arrangement supports LoRaWAN connectivity across distributed monitoring locations, subject to local radio coverage and installation conditions.

With its combination of solar-assisted power, LoRaWAN connectivity and dry contact monitoring, the Dragino CPL03-LS provides a practical solution for smart buildings, industrial IoT, agricultural facilities and remote infrastructure monitoring.

Important: The CPL03-LS monitors an external dry contact. It does not independently detect door movement without a suitable connected contact or switch. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway and network server are required for remote communication. User notifications depend on the connected IoT platform.
