The Dragino SE01-LB is a professional LoRaWAN® Soil Moisture, Temperature & Electrical Conductivity (EC) Sensor (EU868) designed for precision agriculture, smart irrigation and remote soil monitoring applications.
The sensor measures three essential soil parameters: volumetric water content, soil temperature and electrical conductivity, providing valuable information for irrigation management, crop monitoring and soil condition assessment.
Using Frequency Domain Reflectometry (FDR) technology with temperature and electrical conductivity compensation, the SE01-LB delivers accurate soil moisture measurements. The sensor is factory-calibrated for mineral soils, particularly loamy and saline-alkali soils.
Its LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A connectivity enables long-range wireless communication with low power consumption, making it suitable for agricultural installations where conventional wired communication is impractical.
The SE01-LB features a built-in 8,500 mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, providing an estimated operating life of up to five years, depending on transmission frequency, network conditions and environmental factors.
With an IP66-rated enclosure, Bluetooth 5.1 configuration and support for wireless firmware updates, the SE01-LB offers a practical solution for long-term soil monitoring in outdoor environments.
