Dragino SPH01-LB LoRaWAN Soil pH & Temperature Sensor (EU868)

The Dragino SPH01-LB is a battery-powered LoRaWAN soil pH and temperature sensor, specifically designed for precision agriculture, smart farming and long-term soil condition monitoring.

The sensor measures soil pH from 3.5 to 9.0 and soil temperature from −40°C to +80°C, providing essential information about soil acidity, alkalinity and temperature conditions.

These measurements help farmers, agronomists and agricultural operators monitor soil conditions and make informed decisions regarding crop management and soil treatment.

The specialized pH probe features a solid AgCl reference electrode and a pure-metal pH-sensitive electrode, enabling direct soil pH measurements.

Integrated temperature sensing supports temperature-compensated pH measurements, helping improve consistency under changing environmental conditions.

Operating on the LoRaWAN EU868 frequency band, the SPH01-LB wirelessly transmits measurement data to a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and network server. The collected data can then be visualized, recorded and analyzed through a suitable IoT monitoring platform.

The device is designed for low-power battery operation, making it suitable for agricultural installations where wired power connections are unavailable or impractical.

Its robust construction includes an IP66-rated main enclosure and an IP68-rated soil probe, providing protection against demanding outdoor conditions and allowing long-term soil installation according to the manufacturer's instructions.

The SPH01-LB also supports Bluetooth configuration and OTA firmware updates, simplifying device setup and maintenance.

The Dragino SPH01-LB is an effective solution for vineyards, orchards, greenhouses, vegetable cultivation, agricultural research and other applications requiring remote soil pH and temperature monitoring.

Important: The SPH01-LB measures soil pH and temperature only. It does not measure soil moisture, electrical conductivity or nutrient concentrations. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and monitoring platform are required for remote access to measurement data.
