Dragino SPH01-LS LoRaWAN Solar Soil pH & Temperature Sensor (EU868)

The Dragino SPH01-LS is a solar-powered LoRaWAN soil pH and temperature sensor, designed for long-term soil monitoring and precision agriculture applications.

The sensor measures soil acidity or alkalinity (pH) and soil temperature, allowing farmers, agronomists and agricultural operators to better understand soil conditions and support informed crop management decisions.

Its specialized pH probe uses a solid AgCl reference electrode and a pure-metal pH-sensitive electrode, providing an electrical measurement system designed for direct soil monitoring.

The integrated soil temperature measurement supports temperature compensation of pH readings, helping improve measurement consistency under changing soil conditions.

Operating on the LoRaWAN EU868 frequency band, the SPH01-LS wirelessly transmits measurement data to a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and network server. Data can then be displayed, recorded and analyzed through a suitable IoT platform.

The device features a mini solar panel and a rechargeable 3,000mAh Li-ion battery, enabling solar-assisted operation and reducing the need for frequent battery replacement.

Its rugged design includes an IP67-rated main enclosure and an IP68-rated soil probe, making it suitable for agricultural environments and long-term soil insertion under the manufacturer's installation conditions.

The SPH01-LS also supports Bluetooth configuration and OTA firmware updates, simplifying installation, parameter adjustment and maintenance.

The Dragino SPH01-LS is a practical solution for smart farming, crop monitoring, soil research, greenhouse management and agricultural IoT networks.

Important: The SPH01-LS measures soil pH and temperature. It does not measure soil moisture, electrical conductivity or nutrient concentration. Remote data transmission requires a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and network server. Solar charging performance depends on sunlight exposure and installation conditions.
