The Milesight EM410-RDL-L0CEU is an advanced 4G LTE cellular radar distance and level sensor, designed for precise, non-contact monitoring of liquids and solid surfaces in industrial, environmental and smart infrastructure applications.
Using 60 GHz millimeter-wave radar technology, the EM410-RDL measures the distance to a target surface without physical contact, making it particularly suitable for water level monitoring, wastewater systems, industrial tanks, reservoirs and other challenging environments.
The sensor offers a measurement range of 0.3 to 12 meters, with accuracy up to ±2 mm and 1 mm resolution under specified measurement conditions.
Its narrow 8° radar beam helps focus measurements on the target surface while reducing unwanted reflections from surrounding structures.
Unlike LoRaWAN radar sensors, this model features integrated 4G LTE Cat 1 cellular connectivity, allowing data transmission over compatible mobile networks without requiring a LoRaWAN gateway. A suitable SIM card and cellular data service are required.
The rugged IP68-rated PVDF enclosure provides protection against water ingress and corrosion, making the device suitable for harsh industrial and outdoor installations. The published water immersion condition is up to 1 meter for 48 hours.
Powered by a high-capacity 19,000mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, the sensor is designed for long-term deployments, with a stated battery life of up to 7 years in cellular mode, depending on reporting intervals, network conditions and configuration.
The EM410-RDL supports NFC and Bluetooth configuration, allowing convenient setup and maintenance. A built-in 3-axis accelerometer enables tilt monitoring, while configurable alarms and local data storage support reliable operation.
Dedicated measurement modes for tanks, sewage systems and rainwater applications make the EM410-RDL suitable for a wide variety of water management and industrial monitoring scenarios.
Important: The EM410-RDL-L0CEU is the cellular 4G LTE version, not a LoRaWAN device. It requires compatible cellular network coverage, a suitable SIM card and an appropriate data management platform. The radar measures distance to the target surface; liquid level is calculated using the installation reference height and configured parameters.
