Outdoor LoRaWAN® Controller for Sensors, Meters & Industrial Equipment
The Milesight UC502-EA is a professional LoRaWAN® multi-interface controller designed for collecting, monitoring and wirelessly transmitting data from industrial sensors, meters and field devices in outdoor environments. Acting as a bridge between wired industrial equipment and LoRaWAN® networks, it enables long-range remote monitoring and control for industrial IoT applications.
The UC502-EA supports multiple industrial interfaces including RS232, RS485, GPIO and Analog Inputs, allowing seamless integration with Modbus RTU devices, energy meters, environmental sensors, irrigation systems, weather stations and industrial automation equipment.
The controller is powered by three replaceable ER26500 Li-SOCl₂ batteries with a total capacity of 27Ah, providing multi-year autonomous operation in remote installations. For applications requiring continuous operation, the device also supports an external 5–24VDC power supply through an industrial M12 connector.
The External Antenna (EA) version includes an SMA antenna connector, allowing the use of high-gain external antennas to maximize LoRaWAN® coverage and improve communication reliability in challenging deployment scenarios.
Featuring an IP68-rated enclosure, industrial M12 connectors, NFC configuration and support for Milesight IoT Cloud, the UC502-EA delivers a reliable and flexible solution for industrial telemetry, smart agriculture, utility monitoring and remote automation applications.
