The Milesight UC511 is a professional solar-powered LoRaWAN solenoid valve controller designed for smart irrigation, remote water management and automated control of agricultural and industrial water distribution systems.
Operating on the EU868 LoRaWAN frequency band, the UC511 enables long-range wireless control of compatible solenoid valves without the need for extensive communication wiring.
The controller features a built-in 6V / 1.7W solar panel and two rechargeable 2,550mAh batteries, providing an energy-efficient solution for outdoor installations where conventional power connections may be unavailable.
This External Antenna (EA) version offers flexible antenna positioning for installations requiring optimized LoRaWAN signal coverage. It also supports an external 5–24V DC power supply, providing an additional power option.
The UC511 supports two 12V DC latching solenoid valve outputs, allowing independent control of two compatible irrigation valves. Two digital inputs provide additional connectivity for external monitoring devices, including compatible pulse-output water meters.
With an IP68-rated enclosure, the controller is designed for demanding outdoor environments, including agricultural fields, irrigation networks, greenhouses and municipal landscaping.
Through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and IoT application, users can remotely monitor and control irrigation equipment, implement automated watering schedules and integrate valve operation into smart water management systems.
The Milesight UC511 External Antenna version combines solar power, rechargeable batteries, long-range wireless communication and flexible power options in a compact solution for professional irrigation automation.
