The Milesight UG56 is a powerful industrial LoRaWAN gateway designed to provide reliable, long-range wireless connectivity for large-scale Internet of Things (IoT) deployments.
Featuring LoRaWAN EU868 communication, the UG56 enables efficient data collection from distributed IoT sensors, meters and controllers, connecting them to network servers and industrial monitoring platforms.
With support for up to 2,000 LoRaWAN end devices, the gateway is suitable for smart factories, industrial automation, building management systems, energy monitoring and other applications requiring scalable wireless sensor networks.
The UG56 offers flexible network integration through Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing data to be forwarded to compatible LoRaWAN network servers and IoT platforms.
Its quad-core processor provides the processing capacity required for demanding gateway applications, while edge computing capabilities enable selected data processing tasks to be performed closer to connected devices.
The gateway supports 9–48V DC power input and PoE (IEEE 802.3af), simplifying installation in industrial networks and reducing the need for separate power cabling.
Designed for industrial environments, the UG56 features an IP30-rated enclosure and supports operating temperatures from −40°C to +70°C, making it suitable for protected indoor industrial installations.
Advanced network management and security capabilities, including encrypted communication and support for compatible LoRaWAN network servers, facilitate integration into existing IoT infrastructure.

Important: The UG56 is an indoor industrial gateway with IP30 protection. It is not intended for direct exposure to rain or outdoor weather conditions without a suitable protective enclosure.
