The Milesight WS501 is an intelligent LoRaWAN® smart wall switch designed for the local and remote control of lighting systems and electrical appliances. It can directly replace traditional wall switches while adding wireless connectivity, automation capabilities and real-time energy monitoring to modern smart building environments.
The WS501 supports both local manual control and remote control via LoRaWAN® networks, allowing users to switch lights and electrical loads on or off through cloud platforms, mobile applications or automation systems. It is fully compatible with standard LoRaWAN® gateways and integrates seamlessly with Milesight IoT Cloud for centralized monitoring and management.
In addition to switching functionality, the WS501 can measure voltage, current, active power, power factor and energy consumption, helping users optimize energy usage and reduce operational costs. Built-in overload protection enhances safety and reliability.
The device also supports Milesight D2D (Device-to-Device) communication, enabling ultra-low-latency automation between Milesight devices without requiring a LoRaWAN® gateway. Configuration is simple through NFC using the Milesight ToolBox mobile application.
With elegant design, industrial reliability and long-range LoRaWAN® connectivity, the WS501 is ideal for smart homes, offices, hotels, museums and commercial buildings.
