Industrial 3-in-1 Soil Sensor for Smart Agriculture & Irrigation Monitoring
The Seeed Studio NH2405080008 / S-Soil MTEC-02A is a professional industrial-grade soil moisture, temperature and electrical conductivity sensor designed for precision agriculture, irrigation control, greenhouse monitoring and long-term environmental sensing applications.
The sensor measures soil volumetric water content (VWC), soil temperature and soil electrical conductivity (EC) in a single rugged probe. This makes it ideal for applications where accurate soil condition monitoring is required for crop optimization, water-saving irrigation and soil health analysis.
Using an industrial RS485 Modbus-RTU interface, the sensor can be easily integrated with PLCs, RTUs, data loggers, IoT gateways and smart agriculture platforms. Its wide supply voltage range of 3.6–30V DC provides installation flexibility in both standalone and gateway-connected systems.
The device is built with an IP68-rated enclosure, flame-retardant epoxy resin and corrosion-resistant stainless-steel probes, making it suitable for long-term installation in soil, water, nutrient solutions and other substrates.
With measurement ranges of 0–100% soil moisture, -40°C to +80°C temperature and 0–10000 μS/cm EC, the S-Soil MTEC-02A provides a robust and reliable sensing solution for professional agricultural and environmental monitoring projects.
