The Watteco Lev’O+ LPG Level Solution LoRaWAN is a remote LPG tank level monitoring solution designed for reading and transmitting LPG tank levels over LoRaWAN networks. The solution enables remote monitoring of fixed or mobile LPG tanks and is ideal for gas distribution companies, industrial installations and smart metering applications.
The Lev’O+ LPG solution measures the level of LPG tanks using a Rochester gauge and transmits the tank level data periodically over a LoRaWAN® network to a remote application or monitoring platform. The system is composed of the Lev’O+ LPG level probe and the TORAN’O LoRaWAN transmitter, which must be used together to form a complete solution.
The system uses Hall Effect technology to convert the magnetic field movement from the tank gauge into an electrical signal proportional to the tank filling level (percentage). This contactless measurement technology provides high reliability, long lifetime and accurate tank level measurement without mechanical wear.
The solution allows remote monitoring of LPG tanks, optimization of LPG distribution logistics and reduction of operational costs by enabling real-time tank level monitoring and automated delivery planning.
The Lev’O+ LPG Level solution is suitable for installation in hazardous environments when connected to the TORAN’O ATEX Zone 1 device and can be used in industrial, commercial and agricultural applications.

How It Works
The Lev’O+ LPG solution uses a Hall Effect transmitter connected to a Rochester gauge installed on LPG tanks. The magnetic field movement of the gauge pointer is converted into an electrical signal proportional to the tank filling level percentage.
The electrical signal is transmitted to the TORAN’O LoRaWAN transmitter, which sends the tank level data over the LoRaWAN network to a remote monitoring platform or cloud application. The output signal is ratiometric and proportional to the tank filling level.
This solution allows continuous remote monitoring of LPG tank levels and enables predictive logistics and automated tank refilling scheduling.
Installation
The Lev’O+ LPG level probe connects directly to the Rochester gauge installed on LPG tanks and is connected to the TORAN’O LoRaWAN transmitter using a plug & play connector. The probe is supplied with a cable and can be installed on horizontal LPG tanks (vertical tanks on demand).
The installation is simple and does not require modification of the tank since the system uses contactless Hall Effect measurement technology.
