Dragino CPL03-LB LoRaWAN Dry Contact Sensor (EU868)

The Dragino CPL03-LB is a LoRaWAN dry contact open/close sensor, designed for remote monitoring of switches, contacts and equipment status in industrial, commercial and smart building applications.

The device detects changes in the state of an external dry contact, allowing users to monitor whether a connected switch or contact is open or closed. It can be used with suitable door contacts, gate switches, limit switches and other potential-free contact devices.

Using LoRaWAN EU868 wireless communication, the CPL03-LB transmits contact status information to a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and network server, enabling remote monitoring and integration with IoT platforms.

Its low-power design and internal battery supply make it suitable for installations where wired power and communication are unavailable or impractical.

The rugged IP66-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water jets, supporting installations in demanding indoor and outdoor environments when mounted according to the manufacturer's instructions.

An external antenna configuration supports long-range wireless communication, while compatibility with LoRaWAN networks enables integration into building management, security monitoring and industrial IoT applications.

The sensor can report changes in contact state and support event-based monitoring. Notifications to users depend on the configuration and capabilities of the connected LoRaWAN network and IoT platform.

The Dragino CPL03-LB is an effective solution for monitoring doors, gates, cabinets, equipment contacts, industrial switches and other systems that provide a dry contact output.

Important: The CPL03-LB monitors an external dry contact. It is not a standalone magnetic door sensor unless an appropriate external magnetic contact is connected. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway and network server are required for remote monitoring.
