Compact Radar Distance Sensor for Short-Range Level & Object Detection

The Dragino MR-03-LB2 is a compact LoRaWAN® Microwave Radar Distance Sensor designed for accurate short-range distance and level measurements using advanced 80GHz FMCW radar technology. Unlike ultrasonic sensors, radar measurements are largely unaffected by dust, humidity, condensation, rain, steam or lighting conditions, making the MR-03-LB2 ideal for challenging industrial and outdoor environments.

With a measurement range from approximately 0.2m to 3m, the MR-03-LB2 is optimized for applications such as waste bin monitoring, small tank level measurement, object detection, smart parking systems, industrial automation and smart city deployments. Its narrow beam angle enables accurate measurements in confined spaces and applications requiring precise target detection.

The sensor features LoRaWAN® Class A communication, allowing long-range wireless data transmission with extremely low power consumption. An integrated 8500mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery provides multi-year autonomous operation, minimizing maintenance requirements and installation costs. Dragino's Bluetooth configuration capability and OTA firmware updates simplify deployment and long-term management.

Combining high reliability, long battery life and industrial-grade design, the MR-03-LB2 is an excellent solution for short-range distance monitoring projects requiring robust wireless connectivity and maintenance-free operation.

Shipping Policy We provide worldwide shipping using only tracked shipping services. Currently all our international shipments are performed by TNT Express and FedEx. Local shipments to Greece are performed either directly from us or using local shipping couriers (i.e. ELTA Courier). We ship products within 1-3 days after the order is placed.
