The Dragino WSS-24 is a RS485 Rain & Snow Detect sensor designed to monitor precipitation events in weather station and smart agriculture deployments.
It detects whether rain or snow is present and reports a clear/detected status to the connected system.

The sensor features a surface auto-heating function that dries the detection grid, improving reliability in humid, icy, or snowy conditions.
It uses an industrial RS485 interface for easy integration with PLCs, data loggers, and LoRaWAN RS485 converters such as Dragino weather station controllers.
