The Milesight SG50 30W is an ultra-low-power, solar-powered outdoor LoRaWAN® gateway (EU868) designed for IoT installations where mains electricity and fixed internet connectivity are unavailable.
Equipped with a Semtech SX1302 LoRaWAN concentrator, the SG50 supports 8 LoRaWAN channels and receives data from distributed sensors and IoT devices over long distances.
The integrated 4G LTE Cat 1 modem enables cellular internet connectivity, while the 30W monocrystalline solar panel (SP1530) and built-in 25,000 mAh rechargeable battery system provide an energy-efficient solution for off-grid installations.
Under the manufacturer's specified laboratory conditions, the battery can power the gateway for up to 4 days without sunlight. Actual autonomy depends on solar conditions, connected devices, communication traffic and installation environment.
The rugged IP67-rated aluminum enclosure, integrated GPS, remote management features and built-in LoRaWAN Network Server make the SG50 suitable for demanding outdoor deployments.
